Seafood was born when the quartet convened at Highbury Corner on August 31st, 1996. Long term friends Charles and David, already in another band at this stage, had advertised for a female bassist and a male drummer. Unfortunately for their aesthetic visions, only two candidates responded - a male bassist (Kevin) and a female drummer (Caroline).
