It's been a while since we last heard from the Dandy Warhols—2005's Odditorium or Warlords of Mars to be exact—but the band's finally emerged from the ether with specifics on their new album, Earth to the Dandy Warhols. Due out sometime this summer through the band's own label, Beat the World Records, it features Mike Campbell of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits on "Love Song." The LP's first single, "The World the People Together (Come On)," is now available on Dandywarhols.com.

To help celebrate all of the above, the Warhols hosted a public Cinco de Mayo party at San Francisco's Minna Gallery yesterday.
