Director John Waters, best known for his lascivious sense of humor, is set to direct a Christmas film starring Jackass leading man Johnny Knoxville and indie film queen Parker Posey.
Scant plot details have been revealed so far, though we know that the story will focus on a young boy named after the reviled holiday treat who runs away from home after both he and his parents are caught stealing meat. Despite the fact that the movie is set during a family-friendly time of year, the quirky storyline sounds like signature Waters and will surely carry some of his over-the-top flourishes.
This is That Productions and Killer Films are set to produce.
