J.J. Abrams Tries to Solve the "Mystery on Fifth Avenue"

To produce a movie about luxury digs with secret passages
The article describes a luxe, 4,200 square foot Upper West Side apartment on Fifth Avenue that was redesigned by its tenants, a pair of Wall Street financial wizards, along with a young architect, to be a scavenger hunt in and of itself, complete with hidden compartments, puzzles, poems, codes, and other assorted games. The tenants built this fun infrastructure because they wanted to entertain their four children. A fictional book and soundtrack were also part of the elaborate inner workings of the pad.
Two writers have been hired to turn the article into a screenplay through Abrams' Bad Robot company.
