Alternative and Christian rock band Skillet, composed of members John Cooper, Korey Cooper, Kevin Haaland, and Lori Peters, released Ardent Worship Live in late 2000. The release is the group's first live album, in addition to being their first praise- and worship-oriented project. It is one of three albums in a series issued by the band's label, Ardent. The release was recorded live at the Chi Music Room in Memphis, TN. Songs include Vineyard Music Group worship leader John Barnett's "Jesus, Jesus (Holy and Anointed One)" and Hillside Singers' Darlene Zschech's "Shout to the Lord." ~ Ashleigh Kittle, All Music Guide
