    All Music Guide Review

A departure from the Manchester by way of Southern California sounds of their previous releases, this four-song EP find the Autumns channeling a '50s pop energy that locks in step with the high school dance motif of the album artwork. With breezy, clean guitar tones bouncing off of picturesque imagery, this is waltzing music for indie pop kids. The guitars hang big icy halos over the gorgeously fragile purity of sweet harmonies and chilly atmospherics in "Thieves in Blue" and "Slow Kiss." However beautifully brief, one gets the feeling that the Autumns were wise to limit this experiment to four songs, as the vibe may not be sustainable over the course of a full-length release. ~ Matt Fink, All Music Guide
