    Like Priority's 70's Greatest Rock Hits series, the 15-volume Rock of the 80's offers a haphazard, yet enjoyable, presentation of hit singles and one-hit wonders from each year of the decade. While the '70s discs are loosely arranged according to theme, the '80s discs just feature ten songs, regardless of when they were released or what they are about. Nevertheless, the series features a nice cross-section of songs and the sound is good, even if there are no liner notes.
