    Spanning two discs and 34 songs, Rainbow Love Boat is a good sampler of disco and techno that emphasizes the fun and joy in dancing. Every song carries the same urgent, driving four/four beat, as the music dramatically boasts of how much fun it is. What is quite interesting is that the album really is pretty good, and in fact many of the cheesier songs tend to be the best songs on the album. Tracks like Kylie Minogue's "Your Disco Needs You" are genuinely fun, exciting songs that may not be lyrical triumphs, but that fact is of little importance in the genre. Rainbow Love Boat is a fun, dance-friendly mix that manages to pick and choose some of the best modern disco and give it the proper showcase. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
