    It's easy to dismiss this band as a one-hit wonder -- surely the album has nothing quite as infectious as the single, "Turning Japanese." New Clear Days is, however, a fine example of punchy Brit-pop in the vein of The Jam that holds up better than most albums from the period. ~ Chris Woodstra, All Music Guide
