Quirky college rock band the Odds packed more pop into one three-minute song than most people could into a whole album's worth of material. And though they only released four albums in their brief five-year tenure, it was enough material to warrant a greatest-hits compilation for the Canadian group. This 12-song showcase captures all of their fan favorites, including minor college radio hit "Heterosexual Man," and puts them all onto one disc. It's noticeably slimmer than 2000's excellent Singles: Individually Wrapped disc, but that's not a bad thing, as it trims away some of the excess and leaves only the most important moments of the group's career. Every bit as enjoyable as Fountains of Wayne, Matthew Sweet, or any other torch carriers of the power pop sound, this disc is a nice starting point for casual listeners and a must-have for die-hard fans looking to get a complete document of the group's rich history. ~ Rob Theakston, All Music Guide
