Fifth Harmony is an American girl group known for their blend of pop and R&B, as well as their strong vocal harmonies and empowering themes. Formed in 2012 on the television competition The X Factor (U.S.), the group originally consisted of Ally Brooke, Normani, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, and Camila Cabello. Though they finished third on the show, their chemistry and vocal ability quickly earned them a dedicated fan base and a recording contract.

The group achieved major success with their debut album, Reflection (2015), which featured the hit single Worth It. The track’s infectious hook and confident tone helped establish Fifth Harmony as a leading force in contemporary pop. Their music often combined catchy melodies with themes of independence and self-confidence, resonating strongly with a global audience.

They continued their success with 7/27 (2016), which included their biggest hit, Work from Home. The song became a global chart-topper, showcasing the group’s ability to blend pop and R&B influences with modern production. During this period, Fifth Harmony solidified their position as one of the most prominent girl groups of the 2010s.

Following the departure of Camila Cabello in 2016, the group continued as a four-piece and released their self-titled album, Fifth Harmony (album) (2017). This project highlighted a more mature and cohesive sound, demonstrating their growth as artists and their ability to adapt to changes within the group.

Fifth Harmony announced an indefinite hiatus in 2018, allowing members to pursue individual careers. Despite their relatively short time together, the group left a significant mark on pop music, known for their vocal performances, chart success, and influence on the resurgence of girl groups in the modern era.
