Henry Rollins is an American musician, writer, spoken word artist, and actor best known as the frontman of the hardcore punk band Black Flag and later the Rollins Band. Born in Washington, D.C., in 1961, he became a defining figure in punk and alternative culture through his intense performances, outspoken personality, and commitment to independent artistic expression. Rollins gained prominence in the early 1980s as the lead vocalist of Black Flag, one of the most influential bands in hardcore punk.
